Programs
For more than forty-five years, the Center for Third World Organizing has trained and supported generations of individuals and organizations while building a thriving ecosystem of connected movements through our training, coaching, and other programs.
Turn Passion Into Strategy
CTWO and our network of training organizations have deepened the reach of grassroots organizing, leadership development, and liberatory education nationwide. Through programs like the Movement Activist Apprenticeship Program (MAAP), Community Action Trainings (CAT), and Liberatory Leadership PRAXIS, we’ve trained and supported thousands of emerging organizers—building the skills, confidence, and community needed to lead transformative campaigns. We prioritize deep organizing, movement sustainability, and the strategic development of leaders who can build and sustain power over the long term.
When we invest in individuals, we support their journey deeper into movement work and spaces. To do this, we offer specialized training and programming for new organizers, community members, and folks who are ready to take that next—or first—step into movement work.
