Each year, we welcome new organizational partnerships for our flagship movement offering, the Movement Activist Apprenticeship Program (MAAP). 

Qualifications to Become a MAAP Host

Is your organization looking to…

  • Add capacity to your organizing campaigns this summer?

  • Develop emerging organizers?

  • Exchange skills and build grassroots power with new leaders?

Every year, CTWO looks for organizations with specific strengths and innovative practices that can help with the development of apprentices. Here are several key items the selection committee will be looking for in host organizations.

Based on CTWO’s strategies and goals, we give priority to host sites that fit the following criteria.

  • Ability to provide support and supervision all summer for a minimum of 2 apprentices

  • Currently working on an active organizing campaign and building a membership base

  • Host a minimum of two apprentices: hosting organizations are required cover apprenticeship stipends ($600/week each person, 7 weeks in the field)

  • Provide housing and local transportation for the apprentices during the 7 weeks
