| Shanrika Turney |
 Shanrika Turney is a 32-year-old African American social worker from Nashville, TN. She has been actively involved with various grassroots nonprofit organizations in her area, one of which is the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition, where she helps Immigrants and Refugees throughout Tennessee develop a unified voice and defend their rights. She also recently became a new member of the Adopt A Village In Africa Organization, where she is the Ethiopian liaison. She will be working directly with people in the African communities who work to support the orphans, widows and families of people plagued by the devastation of AIDS. |
