 Cristal Gallegos, is a 21-year-old Mexicana from Arizona where she studied Political Science and Africana Studies at The University of Arizona. She now resides in San Francisco where she has been involved with projects such as Prison Radio, which dedicates itself to the fight against mass incarceration and racism by bringing the voices of prisoners into public discourse. She is now an intern at Freedom Archives, a non-profit organization that contains over 8,000 hours of recorded audio, documenting progressive history of the Bay Area, California and of international solidarity movements. |
